DID YOU KNOW?
A standard wheelchair in Canada costs on average $2,500. Because of their high price point, there is a lack of affordable mobility devices for those rejected from government funding.
Many Canadians who do not meet the strict requirements to qualify for provincial subsidies (ADP) cannot afford to purchase a new device. Even for those who do qualify, the subsidy only covers 75% of the cost of a new chair and many citizens cannot afford the client portion that can be upwards of $600+.
So on one hand, thousands of Canadians who need wheelchairs cannot afford them

Meanwhile, tens of thousands of wheelchairs go into disuse every year in Canada - that's over 4,000 devices in the London Middlesex area alone! These devices often end up in landfills or collect dust in the basement of community homes because there are few places that accept device donations.
On the other end, thousands of gently used devices collect dust in storage or are thrown out each year.
ROLLUP BRIDGES THIS GAP.

HOW YOU CAN HELP.
Give hope, freedom, and independence through the gift of a wheelchair. Every $125 donated provides a wheelchair to someone in need by covering the up-cycling and delivery cost.
If you have a gently used wheelchair or walker, we would love to accept the equipment and get it into the hands of someone who needs it!
